I'm genuinely interested to see why. The trailers and clips have been so bad, but they barely show off the stuff that takes place on that other planet. String and Anthony Hopkins save the movie?

It looks like cheesey fun. I thought the trailer was hilarious.

I think Kenneth Branagh understands that there has to be a certain amount of tongue in cheek with these colorful heroes. Not every hero's world has to be dark and brooding like the Dark Knight's. That atmosphere suits Batman, but probably won't with Thor.

Medieval dudes fighting in modern cities with crappy CGI. It was a surprise to see Richard Grieco in there though, haven't seen that dude since that one movie he was in after 21 jump street.

Marvel doesn't own the rights to "Thor", so The Asylum [a studio that specializes in quick and cheap ripoffs of major movies released on the heels of their big-budget inspiration] are releasing Almight Thor with Richard Greico in order to cash in on Thor with Chris Hemsworth.

My dad is a huge Thor fan. Was hanging out with him at his job and he was browsing the imdb page, clicking poster after poster and saying "I wish I knew someone who'd go seen this with me..."

No way I'm going. My mom is gonna go. I can't think of an action movie they don't like, so I'm sure they'll love it
