Got 360 slim. Been picking it in my brain the past few months. Mainly wanna use it as a side console since xbla has a better online selection than psn.

What are the best Musuo games for 360? DW5: Empires is a given. What about Samurai Warriors? Any Orochi games?

Last Splinter Cell seemed interesting. He was in prison, right? Reminded me of Butcher Bay in trailers.

Original Crackdown is great...with co-op play only for me. I can't stand it on single player but it's fun as fuck on co-op. Borderlands, why not?

Thinking about it, it seems like almost every multiplayer oriented game is better on 360 due to the larger community. Barely any of my friends on psn ever play the same games I do. I got like a few who play SSFIV and MvC3 but that's it. Most only stick to LBP or CoD or some shit.

Both Orochi games are definite musts. DW5 empires definitely shows itsage t ths point as does SW2E, but the standard version of SW2 can be had for $10 used if there's a Gamestop near you that has a copy.

Get Bayonetta for sure. If you don't care about owning a physical copy, it and many other titles are available for download from the marketplace. Then you can dump that disgusting PS3 version.

With the Musou games, I have generally found them to be better on Playstation 3. If you are fine with importing, I would recommend skipping Warriors Orochi 1 and 2, and importing Musou Orochi Z (which contains WO1+2, new dream stages and some new playable characters-- this content is also in the American PSP version of WO2), which has more features, improved visuals, more enemies on screen at a time, and harder difficulty levels. Sengoku Musou 3Z (Samurai Warriors 3+XL port up to PS3) is the same way.

And yeah, in general I find the online experience better on XBL. MUCH better. Especially when it comes to playing with people on my friends list. You'll generally find a better crowd (more challenging!) to play against in the fighting games too.

I buy maybe 4-5 full price console games a year.

I buy maybe 10+ handheld games a year. They're considerably cheaper.

Most of the games I buy are used or 20 or less. I really buy games I really really want at full price and wait for 20 bucks price for everything. Example: loved Batman Arkham Asylum demo but still haven't played it. Fallout New Vegas is now 20 bucks at gamestop! I save a lot of money waiting for games I'd probably enjoy but I take solace in spending a fraction of their full price cost.

Marvel vs Capcom 3: over 100 hours played
Dynasty Warriors 7: 50+ hours played? (there's no clock)
Tactics Ogre LUCT psp: beaten once
Ghost Trick: beaten
Saints Row 2: gonna scrap it for 360 version
Chu Chu Rocket iphone: play it every day for at least 5 minutes
GTA Classics Collection via steam: I've beaten these multiple times so they don't count.

It's only around xmas sales time I get games that sit in collection catching dust.

And I probably get off pretty cheap compared to the steam whores.

Also, I've gameshared a lot of ps3 games and have barely played any of them. I have no motivation to play games I get for free.

You can buy DLC and XBLA games at GameStop on voucher cards. It varies on what they offer, though.

On a more "serious" note, now that I have both a ps3 and 360 again I'd like to talk about system preference and trust and main consoles. I'm considering making my 360 my main console again but I'm not sure. The whole playstation 3 incident has me so worried about ps3 though I'm probably being paranoid.

I will admit that I have always thought that 360 was a better system than ps3 but have had fun trolling 360 fans for years. Ever since the ps3 599 announcement I was pretty much on board with 360, and weighed heavily on the 360 side early in the generation and planned on getting a ps3 when the generation was almost over until MS held my account and cc hostage for no fucking reason, but they didn't fuck me over like sony did with this ps3 hack debacle. To be truthful, if MS hadn't even held my account ransom I probably wouldn't even have a ps3 now.

My main issue is one of trust, and I don't trust either companies now. I know it's stupid to "trust" a company but dammit, I like to act like feel like they give SOME shit about their customers. The main reason I got a ps3 was because I felt that ps3 would be a more trustworthy game system in terms of my privacy, and now that theory has been busted wide open. It's really hard for me to trust Sony and use their networks again after they decided to not go public about the hacking until a week after the fact. I just can't rationalize it in my mind.

I dunno what to use what system for what. I know I'm not being hyperbolic here, as it's an relationship issue between customer and provider. But my trust of both companies is so fucking low that I don't know heads or tails what to use what system for what.

Just play fucking videogames dude. Play both systems. There is no need to declare your undying love for either platform or only play one or the other. Just fucking play games and talk about those games you enjoy.
