As far as the politics side of it on a personal level I don't overly like to give political points to either side when something like this occurs. It's too easy to play political football with and it over simplies these things. Like the way Reagan was credited with single handedly tearing down communism in revisionist history and all that other stuff.

I will admit I take some pleasure from certains corners of people with all their muslim and not a citizen crap and look who's watch he was killed under. Agreed. This is an American victory (and in many ways a world victory, given how many non-Americans he killed), not a political one. And yet I can't help but smile at the thought that the Kenyan born, terrorist sympathizer who doesn't "understand" America has been focused intently on this for two years and ultimately gave the order. I for one am glad the "dems don't care about national security/Obama is weak" meme is clearly dead.
