So did anyone pick this up? I downloaded the demo on PSN and had every intention of waiting for the XBLA version. It was so awesome I couldn't wait.

The missions so far are cool and are like Jackal (rescue captured POWs, destroy a missile silo). It's got a nice level up system to where you can assign points for new abilities. Sadly co-op is only local. It has competitive online multiplayer, though. Still it's well worth the money.

Yeah, having a 20gb is just barely a step up from a core. Buying a 100gb for $60 was a wise investment for me. Keeping the 20gb as a backup.

Finally bested the first mission on Hardcore. Shit was nasty. This game is tits, do yourself a favor and buy 10 copies of it.

Finished mission 1 on the third try, playing on Hardcore. Started out playing with Gunnar but he seems to be a really hard character to play in that his special skill is probably the least usable... still, I like that you keep your XP and upgrade points even when you get a game over so each try gets progressively easier!

Helicopter part is great, really like the control feel of this, and the mission 1 boss is some classic Desert/Junglestrike shizzle, hehe. Some weirdness going on with the auto altitude of the copter though, shot down a helo beside the boss ship and the powerups fell to water level. My copter didn't want to go down there so I couldn't pick 'em up...

Anyway, Mission 1 verdict, fantastic game, get it now,

Holy fuck. Just finished Mission 3 after easily 10 tries or so, game is so awesome

Since I keep dying on the Hardcore difficulty the character I'm playing (Armand) is already maxed out at Level 45 hehe. Think I have found the best combo for his status buffs as well.

Only annoying thing is that I find myself stuck on scenery quite a lot, sometimes the vehicle trips up on something and tumbles around VERY SLOWLY before resetting itself which leaves you open to massive damage. Also have gotten wedged in between buildings and edges of platforms so I can't reverse out of there, have to leave the left stick in neutral for a while and it seems to get reset. Quite unnerving when you have lots of enemies firing at you at once.

But damn, game is great. Can definitely see myself going back and replaying to try to keep the damage streak alive as long as possible, you can tell that the level design allows for combo extension by placing optional little enemy bases in some forks of the road where the objective arrow normally doesn't point you

Wonder how hard the final missions are when Mission 3 took me this long to beat, hehe. Ended up finally beating it after I

Isn't it a little weird they call it the buggy but it's the jalopy? I kinda wish it was the buggy.
