Man City vs Stoke

Stoke massive underdogs, Man City bankrolled by billions of GBP.

8 minutes to kick off.

I am screaming for Stoke.

To finish off the season of shit, United to win the CL and Liverpool to get 5th

and Blackpool to get relegated.

Oh fuck - and fucking Cardiff or Swansea to make it to the PL

jesus - the all round suck of this season is massive - i joke slightly, i'm actually glad united won the league rather than Chelsea and Brum beating the Arse in the league cup still makes me laugh when i think about it.

Shit, i just remembered Norwich got promoted too :/ arsecandles.

QPR got promoted, that's all I care about. Can't wait for next season.

and yeah arsenal needs some major work but I believe in them. I think the big story though is what the fuck MU is gunna do for a goalkeeper if van der fart (haha get it) really does retire

I'm doomed to life as an Arsenal fan cause that was the team of my best friend when I was a kid in London.  Shouldn't complain, since they're one of a handful of teams with the resources to actually compete in the modern game, but still.  When they were winning, I had to get it all secondhand from match reports on the web.  I'd love to have a successful season that I actually got to see happen, now that so many games are shown in the US.

he IS retiring so ... erm... the Shalke keeper is off to Munich so he's out.

i thought he was still flippy flopping.

oh well, theyre in trouble then because the only reason why MU got so far this year is because of Van Der Sar

Wasn't the problem MU had back in 09 against Barcelona in UEFA was that they rested their A team so they werent ready? I'm pretty sure we'll see the A team with some exceptions for the last premiere league game.

On the 30th for the Championship. Pleased those Cardiff fucks choked again. :lol

Can't wait for Sunday. I'm picking Brum and Blackpool to go down with West Ham. Would like to see Blackpool stay up though 'cos that's one relegation place for next season sorted at least.

I expect City are going to beat Bolton and hang on to third.

Oh well next season will be great because MU is losing some great players - Van Der Sar, Neville, possibly Scholes. It'll make it open again for Chelsea and Torres :bow

wonder who MU is eyeing for a goalkeeper replacement though

Realistically though who could they get that will fill that void, I can't think of anyone, and I still believe the only reason they had such sucess this year is because of Van Der Sar.

When is Cech's contract up :teehee

Yeah I was hoping they'd stay up. Big fan of Ollie, QPR legend.

Anyway, next seasons' Premier League is looking pretty tasty

Aston Villa
Arsenal
Blackburn Rovers
Bolton Wanderers
Chelsea
Everton
Fulham
Liverpool
Manchester City
Manchester United
Newcastle United
Norwich City
Queens Park Rangers
Stoke City
Sunderland
Tottenham Hotspur
West Bromwich Albion
Wigan Athletic
Wolverhampton Wanderers

...and either Reading or Swansea City.

if theres one thing that I wish american sports would adapt from football (besides getting rid of all the ad's that american sports shove down your throat every few seconds. seriously, one of my favorite things about football is that there is no real stoppage in play unlike american football where theres stoppage in play every five minutes) woudl be the whole "worse 2 teams go down to lesser league" thing. It means that all the teams have to atleast try each year, which is something some American teams are guilty of (Orioles in Baseball...)

Anyone watching the Women's World Cup?  I was surprised to see so many good looking women, probably because my female friends who played in NCAA Division 1 were all short and stubby.  I watched one of them lose a whole season due to getting injured during ultimate frisbee.  It was sad but still kinda funny to see a supposedly elite athlete get injured while playing such a dumb game.
