In order. No wii cause it's too early but will probably land in the top 4

DS: It's surpassed the snes in terms of awesomeness, and it's still going

Snes: Plenty of goodness to bed had, and 16bit holds up to this day

Gamecube: Fuck all the haters, it's got some games that were simply the best of last gen sure it had shit 3rd party support but the games it did get made up for that

Nes: Some goodies to be sure, but I was too busy with my 2600 then I jumped right into P.C. Engine

GBA: Snes light

Gameboy: got most of us into portable gaming, but overall not a lot of goodness here, some goodies but not a ton

N64: outside a few classics, it was a blurry framey mess with a horrible pad.

Virtual Boy: if it had more software it would be higher, I dig the idea and the games are decent.

haha, well I DID like mischief makers, but I can easily name 8 games in the cube library I LIKE A LOT, and in the N64 library its like 3. I wish Starfox Assault was as good as Starfox 64 tho

N64 at least had two decent Zelda games, a very good Mario Adventure and a good Mario Kart game. And don't forget about Perfect Dark, Golden Eye, Banjo Kazooie 1 and 2, Star Fox, Diddy Kong Racing and Donkye Kong 64.

Yeah, N64 was better than Cube.

IMO it goes:

SNES: best console as a kid EVER, tons upon tons of awesome, 2d ftw. EARTHBOUND.

GBA: awesome portable, had many games that reminded me how much 2d still rocks.

DS: another awesome portable, but doesnt quite yet have as many good games as GBA, although it will eventually.

N64: my first foray into 3d, because I wasn't as much of a nerd as I'am now. So many great games, zelda, super mario 64, goldeneye, perfect dark, banjo kazooie, Super Smash Bros, jet force gemini, lots of awesome.

Gamecube: SSMB is what made this system mine, Resident evil 4 was mindblowingly cool, metroid prime was good for what it was, but mario failed me here. Lots of disappointments.

GB: I loved my old grey gameboy, I had megaman 2, metroid 2, mario , this shit was fun as fuck as a kid. Cant remember much but those games though.

N64 at least had GOOD Nintendo games. Definitely more meaningful than the one or two extra exclusive JRPGs and an uncensored version of BMXXX.

What the hell? You missed OoT, Mario 64, MM, FzeroX and some others. And Melee is the only sequel that's actually better (and probably GX).

Call me crazy but I never really got into OOT, I guess its because I played Wind Waker first and just found OOT to be inferior and a bit boring. I forgot Mischief Makers on my N64 list. Shake shake

I do like my N64, but I just has quite a lot more fun with my Cube.

Edit: Oh yeah Fzero X is good too. I guess my big post is falling over pretty hard lol. I still think Cube is better.

Ive never played Mario 64. Would it be worth getting on VC or DS?
