DmC by Ninja Theory is going to be shit but at least we have Ninja Gaiden 3!

Like any rational person realized during the new DMC reveal, the biggest worry wasn't Dante's redesign (as shitty as it is) but the people who are behind the project to begin with.

Ninja Theory is a c-list developer.

And they've decided that DMC should be locked 30 fps and have firearm cooldown.

Anyone who has played DMC realizes how stupid that is because you're always shooting and keeping enemies away. Including weapon cooldown will only make the action slower, and DMC does not benefit, in any way, from slower paced action.

At least we have Ninja Gaiden 3!

Firearms were good for keeping combo.  Which means you can't have cooldown on them or they lose that purpose.

Ninja Theory probably doesn't even know what a combo is.

NG3 will probably suck too, but it sure as hell won't suck as much as DmC.

Because the Sigma games were downgrades (really only in terms of difficulty) doesn't mean a thing, as the core essentials of Ninja Gaiden are still there.
