I still don't know why they're making a sequel to this.  I remember renting it and it was fun for like 1-2 hours and then was completely boring and empty and probably the worst sandbox game I've played.

Yeah, that's my reaction as well. First game just was not good at all, hard to get hyped for a sequel.

I really enjoyed the first one. It really nailed the progression of the infection spreading. From sudden fear to finally chaos at the end. Loved being able to pilot the helicopters and take out the infected buildings.

I'm going to guess you didn't play Sega's HULK movie tie-in game, which basically apes Radical's Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. It could have been a great game, but fails. When I started playing Prototype, it felt like the game Sega's was trying to be.

I think I'm going to buy Hulk: UD again. Hope I can find a copy for the Xbox.

I have looked for it at GameStop EVERY time I've been back to the USA, and never found it. So I was about to tell you, "Don't bother, it's impossible to find!"  -- then I remembered Amazon, and found that they've got copies for less than $2.
