Lack of Radiant Silvergun is kinda balls, but some of those look cool.

Bastion and Dust look potentially good.

I just dont understand all the people by the pool and stuff. They should have gone for a more realistic approach of someone closing the blinds and gaming in a dark room during the day.

This years line-up is garbage bag. From Dust is the only interesting looking game there. And yeah, if Fruit Ninja is anymore than 400 points; whoever decided on the pricing of the game has an insatiable thirst for rectal seepage.

I would have expected to see at least one of: Ms Splosion Man, Guardian Heroes HD, Retro City Rampage or Radiant Silvergun. What a pile of shit

The lineup blows. Shadow Planet and Bastion are the only two games I have any interest in, and I'm still not sold on either of them. No big deal though. There are tons of other XBLA games coming out to pick up the slack.

The lack of Radiant Silvergun isn't surprising though. Summer of Arcade is for games that (try to) appeal to a large audience and shooters are one of the most niche genres around. No sense in putting a big spotlight on it since everyone who's going to buy it will get it whenever it comes out.

:lol

The Fruit Ninja video was hilarious.  The guy looked so random.

After watching the Bastion updates from Giant Bomb over the past 6 months or so, I have next to no interest in it.  The game looks incredibly boring.

Dust could be end up being kind of cool though but I'm still not exactly sure what you're supposed to be doing.

Summer of Fail.

Does Bastion have stats? Other than that I have zero interest in any of these. Chahi should have just made Heart of Darkness 2 instead of this Populous god game.

tbh Bastion looks pretty cool.

but as demi said, needs stats or it's worthless. Im playing Oath in Felghana on PSP atm, which would suck without stats

Bastion, Shadow Planet and From Dust look like buys for me. Lots of stuff I need to pick up on XBLA (and PSN surprisingly) at the moment, good though as I'm pretty much going to be coasting on games I have and downloadable titles till October.

You guys need to play Bastion and tell me if it's as good as it looks.  I love the art, but I know nothing about the gameplay.

I'm interested in Bastion mainly because you can go back and change any weapon upgrades you choose. But it looks pretty dull gameplay wise.

Answering my own question I tried the Bastion demo and it was pretty boring.  Nice art but narrator got on my nerves because he wouldn't shut up and the combat is zzzzzzzzzz

awesome, The Maw is a good game, and a quick fun 200. You have to fork out 300 points for the "DLC" (unlock codes) for the extra levels if you want 250/250  :-\

but dont the extra points nag the completionist inside you? If I'm going for 1000 in a game and it has dlc for more Gs I'll buy it. Recent examples have been Enslaved (best DLC ever), and BK Nuts & Bolts (ass DLC).

And yeah, I bought The Maw DLC  :-\ I'm just glad I helped finance Twisted Pixel's subsequent efforts.

Nope, I am about to break 200k... I am bored of gamerscore. I just go with the flow. DLC? Don't care. Online passes? Don't care.

I kinda liekd the Bastion demo but I dunno how much of it I'd want to play. Not sure what the EXP is doing for me. Is the equipment randomly generated? No co op?
