This guy is the best thing to ever happen to music. my roommate has been buying up his entire backlog, and it is fucken awesome.

Notable songs: Fishnet, Colour of Success, Blondie, Donald Trump Black Version, Jungle Love, Oak Tree, the list goes on and on!

Any other Morris fans here?

I seriously thought he was the best musician in Purple Rain, but I like Q-Tip's solo work better than his ATCQ stuff, so there's a good chance I'm just an idiot.

The part where they bring the mirror out for him is cool in any case.

If you don't own it, you should look into getting Prince's "Graffitti Bridge". Morris is on 2 or 3 songs on there.  One of the most underrated Prince albums of all time.

Morris Day was an awesome talent. Real showman, but kind of lost inside Prince's shadow (like most of his proteges were). By the time, The Time tried their own thing in the early 90's. Music had sort of moved on .. their music was sort of bland and lacked the funk of the early stuff.
