I have told myself that if I am going to get one of these it will only be with a 32gb card (at a reasonable price) and I will buy 100% of my games digitally.

Are games usually cheaper on Amazon and shit than on the PSN store, or are they pretty much at parity? If the former, maybe I can get by with an 8 or 16gb card? I don't care about the 3G.

Not sure what your habits are, but I have 2 cart games and I'm supremely annoyed when I want to switch between them and the other cart is on my desk when I'm in bed.

Then I have like 35 or so vita/ps1/psp games with almost 3gbs left over.

which might get taken up by NGS2 tomorrow. Still a bit undecided on it for day 1...but i bet i'll cave

I hope the ninja race and tag missions are good. I'm actually glad it doesn't have online/ad-hoc co-op too, because that means you won't need an extra person to deal with the horribly designed clusterfuck missions, like in NGS2.

I am the same way. I will just play whatever is in my 360 rather than get up and change it. I want to just have all my shit on the Vita, especially since it looks like the games are behind some little shitty flap door thing. But I don't want to waste $10 per game by not buying them on Amazon.

To be fair, it looked bad on the PSP as well. Borders there helped it look decent because Arc didn't resize the resolution (or at least the backgrounds) for the PSP. Go buy Accent Core off the PSN store for $10 if it's still available and see.

Frankly, the borders don't bother me, the resolution needs to be good for me to care.

Edit: And you should, if it's like the PS3 version, be able to turn off the borders. But you'll still be in 4:3 mode because Arc never resized the resolution/reworked the entire GG engine to work in 16:9.

The only thing on that list worth a damn is Super Stardust Delta, anyone that doesn't have that should buy it for $5 if they're a plus subscriber.

As it is you could've gotten Hot Shots Golf at $8 in December if you were a plus sub, so that isn't a good sale (still a good game though) the rest is shit that no one wants/cares about.

any version of Guilty Gear after X2 Reload was not meant for anyone but the 5 people who play it competitively, so they don't really care to make improvements that a wider audience would expect. but if this version has decent online, that'll be enough of an improvement to make it worthwhile. if it doesn't, than i'll stick to messing around with it once a year in pcsx2

It won't have decent online, the PS3 version doesn't. But I expected that since I was one of the rare few to buy #Reload's X-box version when it released day one and played it on X-box Live.

Old-school (pre-2007) fighting games simply do not work online unless they have GGPO net-code, and even then that's reallllllllly spotty.

I'm still going to buy it if it's $10 or less because I love Guilty Gear and I can't care if I'm playing against the AI by myself, having it on the go would be nice. But I'm not paying $15 for a broken online port. Simply won't do that.

People, I get the impression that the whole notion of how PSN/PS+ have amazing bargains only apply to regions like Japan and USA? When I look at the PS Store on my Vita, the deals really aren't that amazing and I don't seem to notice a weekly price reduction on a lot of games. In NZ I got over 10 'free' games in the last 3 months. Plus if I had a vita they were giving golden showers, jsrf and gravity daze.

Prob only worth it if u have a ps3, Vita is of course an afterthought for Sony at this stage.

Same as the arcade version- If they removed borders, game play would be changed up. But seeing as how this is a new version of GG, why not do this? Or why not offer 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio options....just like Arc did with the home version of Arcana Heart 3. They're too fucking lazy to do this on a game that's like a decade old already.

Hot Shots Golf is indeed awesome. The only downside with it is that it's a bit too similar to the PS3 versions. I didn't enjoy MotorStorm RC, but then again I only played it for 10 minutes.

Motorstorm RC is easily one of the best games on the vita, that is if you have the skills and patience to get through the game. it's very rewarding and fairly challenging game which can become addicting if you have a few friends whom your competing with in lap times.

Nah, I don't think they announced anything like that, although I haven't been paying much attention to the game. Still, I think some of the Ultimate Ninja missions would be impossible even with the ability to switch between both characters (partially because your partner AI would always get killed in seconds), so I'd hope that they redesigned, or at least removed those.

I love how new releases aren't available until Grace Chen hits the "bless the plebes" button. 4-7pm on release day is a pretty shitty DD update time, hopefully they change that shit next gen.

Just got Sigma 2+ and tried tag mode.

It's like a slide show. Felt completely unplayable to me.

Don't know if there's a patch that addresses this or not, since I won't have a wi-fi connection to check for updates until I get home in an hour or so.

The story mode is no better. It feels too slow and clunky when there's multiple enemies on the screen.

Or maybe it's just 30 FPS syndrome again. I dunno. The original game didn't feel this bad.

The cut scenes are FMVs, BTW- high quality, but clearly not in-game.
