All the Persona games on PSN are 50% off I believe. I have nowhere near enough room on my memory card for P4G but I think I'll pick up P3P since I missed the last Persona sale

Assassins Creed III: Liberation is $20 at gamestop also, I'm debating that one too

Killzone is  :o :o :o :o :o

The Vita finally has its showcase title.  Plays great and it looks like everything touchscreen/panel related can be disabled except for melee-counter stuff.  There are areas where they clearly cut corners (I stepped in a puddle and looked down- the water had maybe 3-4 frames of animation), but the overall visual package is pretty damn impressive.

Was also glad to see eight player slots for multiplayer- the other two Vita FPS games only allowed for four players online.

It's a shame that Resistance or Call of Duty didn't turn out as well. The system could have used a competent FPS near launch. I think I'm getting it day one.

Edit: Re: that Vita collection photo. I still have way more games for my Vita than my 3DS, but that's partly because of region-locking and Nintendo's lack of a unified account system. I'm still waiting for Etrian Odyssey or Megami Tensei to make it here.

after playing killzone my vita developed a weird vertical line issue.  it looks like a crack but there's no damage, like there's a single line of pixels that's too bright.  punishment for playing killzone  :-\

edit: uh, I fixed it by pushing down on the screen.  might be related to how warm the vita got playing it.

??? Call of Duty had 8 players. Unless you mean 8 on each team? Which would be a #gamechanger for the system, for sure.

No, eight total.  Maybe I'm thinking CoD is less since there were never that many people in matches.  :teehee

I'm just glad to finally have a good portable FPS.  It really says a lot that BLOPS Declassified was the best one before this.   :dizzy

The beta is multiplayer-only and doesn't have all the stuff going on that you'd see in a campaign.  Seems to be a pretty steady 30 FPS.  I see preview articles mentioning that the single player is also pretty stable.

Guerilla Cambridge wasn't fucking around with this- visually this game is just jaw-dropping.  Shits all over everything else.

I don't know if it comes with a memory card.  Probably not.

How much would I need to spend for a decently sized memory card?

Also, what are the big releases for the rest of the year other than Killzone?

There are maybe 10-15 Vita games that interest me but unfortunately half of them are available on PS3.

Yeah but the lack of games is a bigger concern.  3DS seems to have more quality and variety even if they're mostly Nintendo games.

I wouldn't buy one smaller than 16 GB. It's $38 on Amazon.com.

Tearaway is the only other big exclusive that has been confirmed for this year. Ys: Memories of Celceta is supposed to be this year and then you have multiplatform games like the remakes of Final Fantasy X/X-2.

The system is also great for PS1 and PSP games, and many of them are really cheap these days. First-party PSP games are often €8 and many third-party classics, like the Ys series, are €10.

I think the biggest issue with Ridge Racer was the lack of content. You have to buy the DLC to get a complete game.

They're still too expensive for me, but I want to pick up Soul Sacrifice, Atelier Totori Plus, Muramasa Rebirth, New Little Kings Story, and Ragnarok Odyssey eventually.

Heads-up on Ragnarok Odyssey- a new version of the game was (or is about to be) released in Japan and I believe it's already been confirmed for a U.S. release.

Why is Silent Hill Book Of Memories on there when a western dev made it?   ???

I think the biggest issue with Ridge Racer was the lack of content. You have to buy the DLC to get a complete game.

Pretty much this.  You don't actually get the complete Ridge Racer when you buy the game- after you buy all the DLC (and download free stuff...there's a shit-ton of music, for example), it feels like a pretty complete game.  If Namco had made the core game free to play, this might have made more sense.  If you want to play an arcade racer, get Sonic Transformed or Wipeout instead.

If DLC is 75% off, maybe I'll pick it up.  Seems like it's the last of the classic Ridge Racers.  I can't believe there's no PS4/XBO game  :'(

What? Some of them aren't excellent but they are worth playing.  ???

Probably because the last sale sold better than expected and it's a "Japanese" IP.

If NGS2 was under $5 I'd probably get it just to watch the trainwreck of a port in slow motion.
