It would've been funny if they screwed up the execution and had to wait for another one-day death permit. I'm not sure the average person finds anything wrong with an execution being on prime time TV. I can't think of any other one that has though. Dumbshits.

The Iraqis made this choice. I may think it's rather crude (I don't believe in capital punishment) but it wasn't my choice. I certainly won't shed a tear for Saddam.

Sadly his death is not going to magically end the suffering in Iraq.
