tin eye was total worthless shit.  i don't think i was able to successfully sauce a single image with it ever.

what do you use a reverse image search for?

Its great for finding the source of an image which usually provides a better quality and higher resolution image

Gazopa came out in 2008.  I'm not sure if TinEye was before that.  But Gazopa was a bit different in that it looked for similar images, not duplicates.  I liked it better but it's been shut down for a bit now.

i might've felt some sympathy for them if tineye wasn't such a piece of shit

Can it be used to check whether a photo is shopped or not, by digging up originals? I dont if their algorithm would allow that, but it would be a pretty good use.

Don't think so. I just tried the current logo and it just gives me a bunch of blue shit, not nick frost. But I try mcd's avatar and it gives me a ton of pertinent results.
