I just listened to Frag's Civ 5 review and I think he should have just tried playing on normal difficulty. I've put 350 hours into it and find it to be a different game every time. I don't get attacked by friends. I now when I'm about to get attacked well ahead of time by denouncements and when a civ ridicules my military. I do agree that it is a board game now though. I still enjoy the game.

We were gonna record a new show tonight, but Pamela Call Recorder for Skype no longer works (I'm guessing it is some sort of incompatibility with a Skype update or something).  We tried the Pretty May trial, but it did not save the 30 minutes we recorded to file :(  If anyone has any Skype audio recording program suggestions let us know!

Good topic. I dunno if there's anything objective here or if it's just that I'm older or whatever, but I kinda feel a lack of vision everywhere these days, not just in games but in technology, art, politics etc. There seems to be a general assumption, even among the people who are supposed to show us crazy ideas for the future, that the future will fundamentally be more of the same.
