I have a cousin who is weirdly into those games. He's also really super hardcore into rollercoaster forums where people make first-person HD videos of rollercoasters wide and sell them to each other on burned blurays or something. He showed up with his father to my place 2-3 years, I had my whole gameroom on with the arcades and consoles ready; but instead he spent 3 hours watching those weird ass vids and making comments about 'camera stability, color schemes of the rides' etc etc.
He has all those unknown games where you design rollercoasters and plays them for hours, etc.. He's about 20, has the mentality of a 13yo, and always hang out with fat lolis ranging from 15 to 19 from work. He has no real male friends. His girlfriend is 19, looks 14 and is deeeeeep into twilight and.. werewolves. Her facebook is filled with drawing of werewolves, dogs, all juiced up and mean looking. She even has shit-tastic photoshops of herself and him turned into wolves.
His father was a super playa when he was younger, and racked up inhumane amount of pussy before settling down, he's still bruce-lee shaped nowadays, and is super hardcore. It must pain him to see his son turning out like that.

And about the game, I saw on steam that the same company has tons of games with similar themes.. and it's all super niche stuff.
