Really, they're the worst. For example, I know I prefer FF to DQ. Be careful who you say that to, though. BECAUSE IF YOU'VE ONLY PLAYED ONE OR TWO DQ's THEN YOU DON'T KNOW FOR SURE. Ok. But I've played other DQ's (not fully, omgwtf) enough to realize I don't enjoy them as much. Not that they suck, but simply that I don't prefer them to FF. OMG. Seriously, this is Dragon Quest. It's not like comparing 20 different bands.

I really didnt like DQ8, but im constantly told its one of the best RPGs ever :p I honestly dont know how it could compare to BoFV, Lufia II, Skies of Arcadia or even VP2

I loved DQ8, but if you didn't, I'm not gonna be like "OMG DON'T SAY THAT UNTIL YOU COMPLETE THE GAME[/scarlet]".

The only RPG I've ever liked is KOTOR (playing through it now) and most of the quests that I found in Oblivion and I got ALL the achievements in that.  Turn based games make you hoard everything and just grind in my experience.  I don't mind having to figure out the tactics, but turn based isn't a game, just a really fucking slow movie most times for people who don't like the idea of using a gun that isn't a sword (that's an ff reference).

Some can take it pretty seriously, but I guess it's all a matter of opinion....  I personally think FF died with FFX..   and the only DQ I liked was DW4, but DQ8 was completely awesome.  Who cares some are great games to some people, and those same games will suck to others

FF is dead to me. FFXII is the last real main line FF I buy.
