The worst thing about K7 haters is that they never are able to quantify what makes it so awful. Is it the controls? The controls pretty simplistic and have an ease in learning, they're pretty relaxing too since all you need to do is hold A to run, press B to turn around. Is it the action adventure gameplay? The same people seem to hold RE1-3 pretty highly, so it can't be that, and K7 does the same thing as RE: locked door, get key of some type, mix items. Is it the shooting? The shooting is simplistic yet challenging and the multiple characters give unique ways of killing the Smiles. Is it the boss battles? The boss battles are no different from games of this type and are pretty fucking inventive.
So while I don't hold K7 as a sacred cow and I'll admit it's by no means perfect, I find it funny how every person who trashes K7 is unable to support their claims or if they do, it'll usually be some vapid shit like "it's on rails" when they clearly don't know what "on rails" means.
I have a feeling that they're trying to use Con Smith when they should be using Dan Smith to snipe hives. In other words, like with any other game of this type, people are refusing to learn how to play it.
But continue on your amirox level "we get it or don't because I'm right" routine
I also wonder if they played it on ps2. Ps2 version sucks.
