I got evilbore.com blocked at work a few years ago, too. Never written up or formally disciplined for internet usage otherwise. Fortunately it only lasted a couple months - I think they might have just been experimenting with the tactic and ultimately decided against it.

The company I work for is part of a larger organization that recently put our department under a new server. Since the server change a lot of sites were blocked if they hit certain tags. Evilbore was tagged under "Games" and was blocked. I guess the change to The Bore bypassed that. Not going to get fired for it. That would mean shutting down the company since everyone here uses their computers to browse the web during downtime.
