In the NCAA: Can't wait to see how Nebraska does in the Big Ten. With OSU in ruins and Michigan rebuilding, I think they'll dominate. Also will be interesting to see if MSU can build on last year's great season but horrible bowl performance.

NFL: LIONS. The Packers obviously will dominate the division but I think we can come in second.; I still don't respect the Bears. Vikings are going to be horrible too. This is our chance.

Also can't wait to see how Cam Newton does. Definitely want to see how the 49ers do

I don't see how anyone can take the NCAA seriously. All this bullshit about regulations and crap when it's obvious that these are just the teams GETTING CAUGHT NOW- everybody is fucking doing pretty much everything. That and the pathetic joke that determines their championship. Basically, it's worth paying attention to to figure out who will be good in the NFL and that's about it.

Born and raised UW fan. I'll also cheer for Nebraska since my wife's family are all Huskers. A bunch of us (wife and I, my parents, and some of our good friends) are actually flying out there for the UW-Nebraska game in September.

Last year we had to have two leagues, because SOMEONE forgot to add defenses to the first league.

I'm pretty sure Grossman or Beck will outplay whoever Seattle puts on the field. Noodle armed Leinart will be lucky to bounce the ball over the center's helmet, TJ will have hard enough time finding the stadium let alone a receiver, and Whitehurst would have a much higher completion percentage if everyone were 20 foot giants wearing stilts. All we're missing now is the Benny Hill music. Seriously, I think I could make this team.

I thought Leinart would turn out to be a decent QB/starter, but he's been quite a bust. He got to learn from one of the best QBs in the league (Warner) for a few seasons and just didn't put the work in to compete.

Reggie Bush was kind of a bust too, when you think about it. Or maybe he was so hyped up that his average performance thus far looks even worse

It's not just because the guy checks down every play that they give him or that he's the Helen Keller of reading defenses, the guy just has no arm whatsoever. My niece can throw a tighter spiral.

USC players scare me. Very few have lived up to their hype. That's why in next year's draft I want Luck, not Barkley.

How much of throwing a long pass is due to technique? I can throw bullets in the 30 yd range but can't quite throw it 50 yds. It might be due to me releasing the ball too high. Whenever I try to throw it far, the ball seems to travel more vertically than horizontally.

I think a good percentage of it is technique but Leinart had plenty of time to learn, and learn it behind Kurt freakin' Warner. If he couldn't figure it from him, I don't know who could step in and show him how to do it right. The guy has an atrocious arm.
