Smoked my last one about 3 minutes ago. Got nicotine gum and awesome greenery to help. Last time I quit, I didn't even have to wean myself off gum, I just forgot about chewing it and went 3 months. Then I had a break-up which I've been over for a while, but I kept on smoking out of addiction!

i'm already old and shameful. I woke up with painful lungs two days ago and every time I've smoked cigs or weed, that pain has come back. Even with small drags and hits :\ I've had bad pain in my lungs but that's never happened before...a pretty big sign from my body that I need to stop. (I've replaced smoking weed with a vaporizer.)

for the record, I've been at a pack a day since mid june, with a half a pack to a full pack a day from January until June (no smokes for a few months before that.)

I quit about a month ago. didn't have a cig for about a month.

then the other night, me and a friend went to a bar. I ended up smoking 7 cigs from chain smoking.

then i bought a new pack the next day and goddamn i love smoking, but I can't get addicted to this, but I already am. I love it too much to quit fully, so I threw out my pack and now every time some one has a cig, I'll ask, strictly as a reward.

I used to love watching my friends in college crumple up packs of cigs in self-disgust after a night's drinking/smoking, swearing never to touch the vile things again, then frantically run to find them first thing next morning

they almost invariably are. ha! I hadn't even thought of that until now...smoking is an easy relationship/hook up starting point. whoa!
