Who is the best poet?
« on: August 15, 2011, 08:34:28 PM »
I think Byron. Don Juan is pretty good. Sure he screwed his half sister but at least it was consensual.

Look at him. This beautiful bisexual bitch god.

Look at this he calls out other poets: http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Don_Juan_(Byron)/Dedication
Not like that taco Keats.

Screwing your half sister should be a "for" point.  Dying on the way to war though...

The doctors fucked that one up. As FM will know his daughter Ada helped invent modern computing which is ironic because Byron supported the Luddites.

I also wonder if that where Kanye got the bear going to college from. Kanye did English in college didn't he?

Tupac actually used to be in Shakespeare's plays when he was in high school. Tupac would of probably been a beat poet or an actor if he stayed in New York probably more an actor though.

John Milton wrote my favorite poem.  I also really like Sylvia Plath, but I'm not much of a poem nerd.
