People were going mad at the gas station and Wal Mart yesterday. Hopefully this hurricane isn't that bad, I'll just be chilling playing DS while this goes down.

grocery store was a bit of a madhouse yesterday.

all trains will be shut down tomorrow afternoon. so basically, you stuck wherever you are.

After Ike, I learned to prepare. For the ten previous years we were warned about hurricanes every year and how each one would kill us (Especially Rita right after Katrina) but when one actually does hit and cause the damage they say it will, you learn to prepare just in case. Having no water or food or gas for days is no joke.

i lived through charlie in florida (the big one before katrina) and now this one is expected to fuck up new hampshire possibly, so we're preparing.

this morning it's basically a stronger rainstorm here in brooklyn. the wind is harder, the rain is more voluminous but really nbd from what i can tell.

the most intense part is about to hit manhattan according to the weather maps so i may be speaking too soon, but so far meh all around.
