In other news I think I figured out wtf happened last night.  Because even being a lightweight, I should not have gotten as fucked up as I did off a bottle of wine + 1 glass at dinner.  


See, every 7-8 weeks I do a 5 hour medical infusion for my crohn's disease to keep it in check.  Not only do they pump me with heavy IMMUNE SYSTEM LOWERING pig protein bacteria, but in order to make sure no weird/bad side effects happen during the infusion they first shoot me up with a whole cocktail of bodily relaxing/sleeping/shutdown drugs.  The end result of all this is that for about 72 hours following my infusion I feel sort of feverish and tired and really out of it until all the drugs get out of my system.  

I actually had my last infusion wed afternoon, so like 24 hours before I drank.  I should have realized that when I got REALLY FREAKING BUZZED (like, "I better chill for an hour before I drive home" buzzed) off 1 glass of wine that something was up and that was something was the drugs still in my system enhancing the effects of the alchohol.  But, being really freaking buzzed I just thought "hey, being buzzed is awesome!  I should drink more once I get home and post about it!!" and thus this thread.

Not that it matters at this point, but it was a mystery and so I felt I MUST SOLVE IT and I think I figured it out; //detective bebpo hat on

I wish I could.  No idea what transpired most of the day. I do remember stopping for lunch and laying on this rocky/sandy river bank, skin stained from bag o wine, then eating half a sandwich and accidentally throwing it on the ground. I meant to throw it but I wanted it too. No clue what I was thinking.

Oh and I think I ate a pizza Lunchables. I distinctly remember someone pointing out that my hand was covered in sauce and cheese, and I kept throwing the leftover cheese at my face. That may have been when I switched to the sandwich under the suggestion of my husband.

No crocs though I was drunk AT the float, not while packing.

I was pre-gaming in someone's house one night in college and these crazy bros showed up with a box of wine, pulled the bag out, and SLAPPED it as hard as they could before chugging and passing it off.  One of them was telling this story about how they were doing this one time and the bag EXPLODED.  I remember I had a nice shirt on and was beyond disturbed (and also very stoned).

I asked him and he said no. But yea, he was highly intoxicated, just on a lesser level. I never get drunk and he always does, so that was just payback.

  @ Robo I was wondering if it could explode. I was disgusted at the idea of bringing boxed wine, but it was pretty fantastic. We all looked like we were covered in blood while wine bonging on the riverbank. I'm sure the nice families floating by appreciated it.

We rented canoes and air boats. The campsite loaded them up and took them to the beginning for us, a bus drove us to the start of the float, and we just floated back to the site, left all the boats at the bank.
