What would it do?
There are many things that I could add to it, for example:
A counter on how many new posts have been posted since the last vist or last time the popup was viewed. (works like a feed graber)
a popup that shows the latest x no. of posts. clicking on a title opens the thread and shows the latest post in a new tab.
add google search for the bore to the top of the popup page.
Sound notification can be added, customized or disabled.
PM notifications, you get a separate popup at the bottom of the screen that shows your PM, clicking on it takes you to the message.
It is useful because you can follow your posts and threads without having to refresh the page and instead can browse other websites in the mean time. I think this tool is great for moderation and following posts throughout the whole board.
Too bad that we don't have a subscribed threads section or I could have used it too. I am open for different ideas and suggestions.
