3.) Why doesnt Lucifel just do all this instead of me?

4.) Why is it God will wait 300 years for me to find the bad guys, then bitch to Lucifel because its going to take me another 7 hours to capture them?

Japanese interpretations of Christian theology has to be some of the strangest things ever, and it's so often portrayed in games too. or maybe it's just weird seeing a modern, super advanced nation do essentially what we think of savages or Red Indians doing, misinterpreting or synthesising the theological elements with their own unknowable worldview.

(this was in Honest Hearts and portrayed very well, btw)

uh, no, it's garbage. Horrid combat, atrocious framerate, contsant hiccups while in battle, level design is shit. Platforming is absolutely bad.

The combat is incredibly deep, especially on harder difficulties, play it on PS3, play it on PS3, level design is simplistic but not terrible. Platforming could use some work, but other than that, great title.

Ya'll would surprised how closely El Shaddai follows the Book of Enoch.

I'm on Level 7, G-ranking HARD mode.

The combat is such a frustrating piece of pile. The huge offender is that you can't cancel out of a combo. You can also not defend in the air. I have to hop around and do jump kicks on enemies because they just plow right through my attacks.

I have such hatred for this slop o shit... I want to go play Dante's Inferno instead

It sounds like your issues are more that you can't get the flow/rhythm of the battle system moreso than the actual game itself.

Game is trash. I got my 1000, I'll never have to play this again, only 200 copies were sold, they will never make another one again.

You've heard wrong. Aside from some aggravating platforming, the combat is surprisingly deep and, like Bayonetta from last year, only gets deeper when you play on harder difficulties. I disagree with the "story goes to shit" criticism, as well. The ending is a bit anticlimactic, but it's not bad.

The best way to describe El Shaddai is that it's the Nier of 2011, or perhaps The Void of 2011. It's going to have its detractors, but it has the "diamond in the rough" aesthetic like those games had.
