eh to be fair...

you can always buy planet of the apes on dvd and watch it on your dvd player/blu ray player.

Since games are system specific, and many systems no longer have bc, I think it's a good thing. It's not like all of us can crank out the ps2 and play an old gem, and many people haven't played these games.

I don't understand the hostility towards re-releases of old games.

My only problem is that is the only thing Vita represents now.

Also Himuro, if you don't remember the PSP being called the Playstation "Port"able and having a meme of "psp has no games" only ports for the first 1-2 years, you have serious blinders on.

It took PSP a long time to become the next PS2 that it is now in terms of big original games software support in Japan.

like dcharlie said that is not indicative of my psp experience at all. sure there were lots of ports and remakes but there was also a lot of new, fresh, innovative stuff. two years in, psp was THE puzzle system for instance. Puzzle Quotient, Lumines, Crush;etc
