gave this a good go tonight with a gorgeous Mega Drive pad. Game is incredible. Such great boss fights. Anyone here a fan of this game?

Game is straight-up METAL, soundtrack makes awesome use of the Genesis PCM. I own the US version cart-only, need to get it complete one of these days. I recently picked up Thunder Force 5 for PS2 for like $8, but I don't like it as much... the 32-bit polygons lack the charm of the amazing 2D artwork from TF3 and 4.
