I'm in Buenos Aires on vacation right now and was invited to a costume party by someone who lives here now that I knew in high school. I told her that since we were on vacation we didn't have any costumes, but it's the day of and she's still suggesting we figure something out. Her idea was to wear tacky clothes--maybe something with American flags on it--and be typical American tourists, but I don't make a habit of bringing tacky or American flag-laden clothes with me to foreign countries.
Any ideas for non-costumes for myself and girlfriend who only have about a weeks worth of clothes each? We've got a couple hours to brainstorm.
