We have walnut trees, so those fucker squirrels crack them and throw the seeds all over the deck, so they're only a pain to sweep and occasionally sounds like we're under attack in the house when they drop whole. We used to have a magnolia tree, and the pod or seed thing is as big as my hand. Two years since it was cut down and I still find those fuckers in the flower beds.

I'll chop a fucking tree that does shit like that.

I'll vote for fall or spring, sure. Winter doesn't much bother me in Osaka; people complain it gets cold, but it's not like the winters in Hokkaido, or anywhere with actual snow. Put on some warm socks, and :dealwithit.gif

Summers here are a bitch and a half though. Sticky, sweaty, and otherwise moist heat, these are concepts that work great for sex, not so great for your walk to work, how how you wake up at 05:30 because it's already 90º. Screw the summers here; I'm hoping I've just had my last one.

Last year my mom used cinnamon leaves/clovers as well. She had them sprinkled all around the fire place and somehow my 1yo cousin managed to eat one of the clovers while we weren't looking lol. Luckily she was ok, but the bad thing is now we can only use the candles this year for fear of it happening again

I have a feeling those who don't like Fall or are apathetic to it haven't lived or experienced a good North East/West Autumn. I want to try and go up to the Maine coast during peak color and grab some photos.
