I know Eric P lives around there and djtiesto is there as well. Any other Boreans in the general NY area?

I'm going to be heading to Rochester in the first week or two of November for a little because of

stuff, and then will probably spend a few days in NYC. Let me know who to hit up for company.

Me, Cajole and Viscen live out on the Island... Rman and Beezy live in the Bronx. I'd definitely be down to hanging out... when you're in Rachacha make sure to get a garbage plate from Nick Tahous.

Moved to Manhattan recently. I'd love to hang. I hung out with Cohen a few years ago. It was awesome.

Let me know if you need to check stuff regarding your interest, like gaming, anime, japan, etc. There's a good amount of stuff here for that stuff.

I'd definitely be up for more meetups.

I went to college in the Buffal-easy... made a few trips to Rochester for Smash Bros tournaments @ UofR... but never really explored the city. My ex was from a Rochester exurb.

One day I'll get to hang with you Himuro. My Aunt lives in Austin and invites me over every year for South by Southwest. Also have a local friend who moved to Houston and I've never been out to visit.

I technically don't live in NY anymore, but I live a lot closer to the city than I did when I lived out on the island near tiesto.

Ok, so I'm going to be in Rochester on the 22-25th of this month visiting my grandfather and then I'm flying to NYC on the 25th and not sure how long I'll stick around. I can either fly back on Sunday the 30th or I can stay for Halloween and fly back Nov 1st on Tuesday. Really depends if NYC Halloween experience is going to be an event worth checking out.

In any case I'll be there from the Tuesday the 25th-30th for sure, so I'd like to figure out logistics for any sort of meetup before then. For people in Manhattan it'll be easy since there's where I'll be staying. For people in the surrounding areas, let's figure something out because I definitely would like to get a beer with many of you!

We could have a EB Group meetup somewhere in a bar or something if people are feeling social. Just throwing it out there.

So I need to book tickets by tomorrow night and I'm not quite sure what to do.

I figured I'd stop at NYC since you have to changeover there anyhow from Rochester and it's so close to it. Plus all you guys live around there! But then I realized that while I could get drinks and hang out with fellow Boreans at night for a few nights, during the day...I got nothing. I went to NYC two years ago and I did basically ALL the tourist stuff. Central Park, Statue of Liberty, Underground Hipster Shows in SoHo, Greenwhich Village, PIZZA, basically every art and history museum, Rockefeller square, Brooklyn Bridge, Harbor boat ride, saw a play in Times Square, played Beer pong, etc... so I dunno what the hell I'd do, especially solo, during the day for these days.

So I'm thinking about maybe going to Chicago instead since I've never been and it doesn't cost anything more if I stopover at it on the way back. Then I could do all the tourist stuff there and check out the sights.

Another option I have, again at no-additional cost thanks to stopovers with Jetblue, is I could stopover in NYC for like 1-2 nights? Then stopover in Chicago for 1-2 nights and then head back.

If I stay in NYC on the 25th (a Tuesday) or the 26th (Wed), is anyone actually going to be available to do something? I know being the middle of the week makes it an odd time for partying and some of you guys live a ways out, so I want to know if realistically anyone is going to be up for something; cause otherwise if I'm going to be solo in NYC I might as well head straight to Chicago and be solo in a place I've never been before and have plenty to do. So chime in if you think you'd be up for hanging out plz.

Also: Tiesto, would you be able to come to the city one of those nights? I dunno if I'd be able to make it out to your condo seeing as I won't have a car (though it'd be awesome to check out your new place).
