DISGUSTING AND VILE.

I hereby renounce my membership in the "Democratic" party, effective immediately. I'm going to fill out the paper the next time I go town during the day. I'm being deadly serious.

From my understanding of things in Canada, Boogie and 'em just don't go around harassing law-abiding citizens, they go looking for the juicy stuff like the hard powder dealers that are heavyweights. To get popped for pot up there, you have to be operating on a giant scale.

Ya, but that all changes when the potheads get deadly serious.

If you really cared about freedom, you'd care about more than just marijuana law.

I still think it's crazy that Robert Platshorn was sentenced to 56 years in prison not even for trafficking in cannabis, but for conspiracy to traffic in cannabis. Not even in the business at the time and hadn't been for damn near a decade.

I do care about freedom, every man must pick his battles. My other big complaint about the past decade is Due Process And How Those Words Don't Seem To Mean Anything In This Country Anymore.

I'm against this, but you didn't seriously think this would last forever, did you?  Supremacy Clause, baby.  This was only a matter of time.
Yeah, can't have the states undermining federal law all willy nilly like this, next they'll be throwing off No Child Left Behind or Medicaid restrictions! Then allowing cats and dogs to live together!

Marijuana will never be legalized, deal with it. The political blowback would be too severe to be worth gaining the votes of Libertarians and a bunch of hippie potheads that'll forget to vote anyway.

Sorta, but I was more referring to the police here just randomly beating people who don't follow the program.

We even have a nickname here for that sort of behavior, but it's inappropriate, even for TB.

This reporter (warning: not an actual reporter) is how most of the world sees medical marijuana.

More Indian people smoke hash every day than there are people in Mexico and Canada COMBINED (about 150 million). That oughta count for something.

Well, that sucks. I'd better hurry up and get my card now before the party is over.

That's sort of the thing though lol. It's no secret that very few card holders out here are people with legitimate health issues using for therapeutic purposes. All it takes is $30-50 for a five-minute conversation with a doctor via webcam and they'll print out your card right there

Weed will be largely decriminalized, probably within 20-25 years
