Seems they are calling ea and getting our Xbox Live info.

Can't log into live and they've spent my M$ points and got stupid fucking achievements.

From reading everything it seems to be linked to Fifa and EA.

I'll never get those Fifa 2011 achievements off my account. Hell they even tried to play The Darkness too.

Bought 6000 m$ points too with a card I linked to games for windows live that I never used on XBL.

so wait, EA's hacked data included their usernames + passwords + associated 360 accounts? (or something) and the people used those EA passwords on the 360 accounts? (or something)

I just glanced at the gaf thread and am a bit confused. Is this because you played Fifa or the hackers just all like Fifa?

It's more likely-

- The "hackers" phished his info from a leaked database from some source, and his info was part of it (this is why i rarely register for shit, and even then use different information)

- The "hackers" for some god awful reason decided to randomly choose his name and social hack it

- Bz has a pathetic password

This is most likely UK based because nobody gives two shits for FIFA here.

Different passwords for everyplace I go to. So thats not it. How I was alerted to this was an Email from EA telling me my password had changed.

When you play an EA game for the first time, a EULA usually pops up and automatically signs you up using your info. Even for games like Dead Space.

Try logging in with your info you use for your current Gamertag...

Guess I'll have to wait till morning to resolve this issue. I demand answer and more importantly how the information was received without knowing any of the other account questions.

It was rumored that EA was the source of the PSN outage. Maybe there is something to that story.

I'm biding my time waiting for 5am to contact EA directly. Seeing as my passwords are different for forums and places I do business this is a shocker to me. I run a clean ship, and just recently changed my EA account password which is routine.

So after almost 5 hours between EA and Microsoft. I know nothing more than the region in which my gamertag was recovered to. It seem's both EA and Microsoft blame each other at the situation. No live for me during the bustiest time of the fucking year. EA is the only place in which I have given my Xbox live information to so that I could "marry" my gamertag to my EA account. My password was rather secure and random including numbers, capitalization, characters with accents, and special characters.

Don't blame EA, blame Microsoft for being shit at security and allowing pirates to just freely use your card without having to enter in any other information. When you try to contact Microsoft to fix it they just fap their wings and pretend nothing happens. They are literally worse than Sony.
