It's really not that bad if you're using it to keep in touch with people you really do care about. It's like what The Business said, it's nice to be able to keep in touch with family and friends that don't live near you anymore. rodi and I probably use it most often for sharing pictures, videos, links,...etc etc.

I don't have siblings, so replace my cousins (who are like brothers to me) with the business' post and trips with schooling because they attend school out of state

I just don't use it. It's been over a year. It's really annoying to hear my mom or step mom say, "I sent you a message on FB about what time to meet." Pick up the phone like you did before FB FFS!

deleting everything except for your cell # is a totally better way to go out, it says "if you want to be a part of my life then BE A PART OF MY LIFE"

I have deleted it in the past and brought it back up just to read news of others.

Most of my friends don't use Facebook anymore and nobody has ever used Twitter. These days, we just call or text. It seems like the only people I know personally who use Facebook regularly are unemployed and bored. Most of my friends with careers or steady wage slave work don't bother using it. Personally I check it out once a week at the very most, usually when I'm bored.

I hate facebook, but it's so easy to keep in contact with everyone you know, and even the ones you don't really know. I don't think I'd ever delete it, maybe just check it less often.

I'm not a pretentious nerd who is ashamed of their friends or have a elitist attitude over people I know in real life so no. I also don't add internet people because that's distinguished mentally-challenged.
