

He's pretty smart. I don't allow our dogs in the kitchen while I'm cooking, because I don't want to step on them or drop something that could hurt them, so our dogs know they can sit right on the line between the kitchen and living room. Taught Dakota to back up, sit, and stay at the entrance within 2 minutes tops. He laid down there and watched us cook the entire meal.
He did have a hissy fit about a treat when our dogs came close though, which I guess is pretty common for dogs. I'm so used to the first two, who share a food bowl, and if you give them separate bones, they play fight over one anyway. Well, more like my female dangles it in front of Kobe so he chases her, and all is happy.
When we got home from work, he gave kisses, howled and rolled all over the carpet.
