PSP has something for little sister lovers, little cousin lovers, and people who have no friends. The next relation to be explored on the system is dad... or, more precisely, stepdad.

Namco Bandai will be producing a PSP adaptation of "Papa no Iukoto o Kikinasai!," or as it's known in English, "Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!".

Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father! is a light novel from Tomohiro Matsu. It follows the exploits of Yuta Segawa, who must live and care for his sister's three daughters when his sister's plane goes missing. The novel was converted to a manga in Jump Square last month, and will see an anime conversion starting in January 2012.

The game conversion was announced during a press conference about the anime conversion. For pics from the announcement event, see Famitsu.com.

"when his sister's plane goes missing"

This screams for a twist ending.

The "twist" ending will be that she's not actually dead. But there will be some other cute excuse to get rid of the sister again if a sequel is warranted. I'm betting "boat trip up the Amazon," which is, sadly, not a euphemism for anything torrid.

Paging fistful. Paging fistful.

Judging by the title, it would appeal more to Kosma, methinks.
