Seriously, aside from the interface difference, the inclusion of subtitles is the main thing that puts Netflix instant on ps3 over 360's. 360's interface is a fucking joke and has zero captions/subtitle options. I'm sick of turning on my ps3 and having to charge my goddamn controller on that shitty usb cord just because I want to watch The Wonder Years or Doctor Who. FUCK.

I have been following netflix's inclusion of subtitles/captions for 360 for like HALF A YEAR and it STILL doesn't have it.

Where the hell is the 360 netflix update?!

Wii has it too... Have you tried turning on CC for the TV and seeing if that works? Because that's how it works for me.

Buy the Blu-ray remote. I've never had to change the batteries since getting it back in 2007.

My connection is always better on the 360 *shrug* My PS3 always has a slow connection. But that's not just for Netflix. That's for everything. While my 360 is zippy as fuck with downloads and Netflix.

In my experience, the PS3 never pauses the video and adjusts the resolution like the 360 does. The 360 can look like you are watching a grainy youtube video while PS3 always looks like HD video.

My experience is the complete opposite

My PS3 is always buffering or adjusting my quality because my connection speed has changed. The 360 is always constant HD

My wife mainly watches foreign shit on netflix via 360 because of this very issue. I think their streams default to 5.1 audio even if you have your 360 set to stereo so that's why the dialogue in films is way too fucking quiet? That's my theory anyway, who knows?

You know how with the old xbox 360 netflix interface you'd start watching and it took forever to load? Or it'd go from sd and then buffer and then switch hd?

omg, it doesn't happen anymore. If I click an hd video, it's instantly hd. omg. and the loading is instantaneous.

Oh, I can hardly wait to be in a country where I can use instant-streaming Netflix on a regular basis. I really enjoyed it when I was visiting my sister in January this year.
