I haven't played any of these games yet but I figure it'll be between Deus Ex, Batman & Skyrim. I'm going Skyrim.

Khan, if you have any love of GTA, you are doing yourself a disservice by avoiding Saints Row. Maybe you can skip SR1 at this point, but SR2 is streets-ahead of GTA IV in the gameplay department.

I never played any of the GTAs for more than a few hours. I actually never bought any of them past Vice City. However I will say that the SR is all about amplifying what I like about GTA in those few hours of play, so maybe I'll give it a try.

Is the demo good and indicative of the final product?

As much as I love SR3 I think Skyrim will end up getting my vote. The sameness of the city just lets me down.

They are hilariously smooth and enjoyable. I loved SR so much I decided to give GTA another chance - I lasted about 10 minutes before uninstalling in disgust. Saints Row 3 is a game BY gamers FOR gamers, under gamers.

Plus isn't the "Run button" also the "Awesome button" in SR3? Where holding "Awesome" acts as a modifier for anything you do, so if you hold "Awesome" while moving, IT MEANS YOU ARE MOVING AWESOMELY!
