The school placed Bernie Fine on administrative leave Thursday night “in light of the new allegations and the Syracuse City Police investigation.”

I was trolling for effect but the most disturbing thing about sports is the stuff that gets swept under the rug and people looking the other way.  While I'm glad that things got addressed relatively quickly regarding Penn State once everything was revealed, I'm just saying that there's a lot that goes on that gets ignored that might end up surfacing.  The culture of sports uber alles needs to be checked.

Edit: and T EXP feel free to tell me to stuff it if I'm wrong but I believe T EXP was personifying and not referring to an actual emperor.

Good point. This is not regulated to schools with cherished programs like PSU or Michigan; it's not like Syracuse is a huge huge program.

Sports gives people the excuse to do shit they wouldn't be able to get away with without an institution providing cover. Ohio State, Miami, etc...shit is insane.
