The weird thing is, artistically the design of Digimon stuff is better than Pokemon. Much more visually rich and interesting. Pokemon mainly comes off as looking unthreatening, until you get to the dragons.

Don't forget the pandafucker furry expansion for WoW, although as we all know that's not really a game so not adding it to the discussion is, as always, correct.

That's sort of the point. Pokemon has always been a mix of cute and cool.

And only two Pokemon would I say look like Digimon.

Way.

Sure Blizz fans will buy everything they make, but their audience is so much bigger now and they have to cater to it.

1. They said they will release WoW expansion more often, thus 1 a year. Wow is on the decline, and thus the big milking and retention game has begun. This will definately make it.
2. Diablo 3 is looking damn good and is in Beta already, this will def release since it seems done to me. Also they will want this to pick up people that are fed up with WoW (with Titan way off still).
3. SC2 is the only one that could get pushed back into 2013, with Blizzard Dota possibly coming in 2012.

SC2: HOTS can definitely come out next year; if I had to bet I'd say November 2012. Blizzard has admitted the first expansion's single player was too long, so I don't see them making the same mistake here. I'd imagine they're going to take a lot of time attempting to balance the game, as much of what has been shown looks potentially game breaking. So I'd imagine the alpha/beta will last for a long time.

I could see it being delayed to 2013, and I'd kind of like that; the game is just now taking shape, and it would suck to go through another learning process so quickly.
