Also I'd be less hostile toward iphone gaming if you could use a stylus on it. Using your GIANT FINGER TIP is this huge imprecise blob that covers the screen and pushes on a wide area, causing inaccurate controls and lack of visibility.

Maybe iOS gaming is better on the ipad. I dunno, I have no need for a tablet so I don't have one.

I can see how you'd say that, but Ghost Recon isn't exactly an action-heavy game. There wouldn't be any problem with touch controls.

I guess I should have rephrased that to solely mean iphone, not ipad, since that is the only way I play iOS games. For instance, World of Goo is not better on iphone because the screen is too small and your finger pointer is too large for accuracy.

Bought both. I really really try to be Steam only to have my PC collection in one place, but there's no way steam achievements, steam friends lists, and having it in your steam games list is worth an additional $25. Eventually when both Batman games are $5 on steam I'll rebuy them down the line to have in the steam collection.

I don't play multiplayer games, I don't really play shooters, I've never played a Battlefield game before, I don't play CoD online. But damn it, the graphics in BF3 are too good to pass up giving the game a shot. Will run through the supposedly mediocre campaign for the visuals and play a few matches for the visuals and get my $30 worth.

Got in on the $199 PS3 bundle at amazon, so no tax/shipping, just $199 straight for 160gig + 2 games. Phew. Was worried if I'd be able to get one and it really is the best replacement solution since my launch PS3 died last week. It's too bad the Ratchet All-4-One demo was pretty sucky, since I like Ratchet and it'd be nice to get a game I'd actually play (already own LBP2 so giving it away).

It's kind of funny since last November my X360 died and I got a replacement X360S during BF from Amazon as well.

Hope this is the last year in a row I need to replace my systems with BF ones!
