Finally saw Hugo today [thanks, Paramount, for not putting this on enough screens for it to show everywhere] and I loved it. Great homage to the magic of cinema and the history of early film, some really great acting too from the main kid and Ben Kingsley, the girl was kind of annoying in her first few scenes though.

Agreed.  I actually liked the girl's character and the actress that played her fit the role very well.  Yes it was a bit annoying at first but I felt it lends well to her mischievous nature. :)  Overall great casting.  LOVED the film!

I liked Hugo. I liked it better once it decided to show what the movie was really about.

I think I enjoyed Muppets more for I enjoyed it throughout, while Hugo's second half was more interesting to me than the first. The film kept delaying its story and I felt the point of the film being withheld and delayed, but I'm not sure what it really gained by doing that.
