Listening to the cast right now...the part about people putting insane amount of time in game they don't like. I have put about 1000 hours in Oblivion modded and unmodded across the consoles and PC.

I like it but it's definitely long in the tooth now that I sometimes call it shit lol.

D3RANG3D, I would like to give Morrowind another try. I do want to mod it a bit to resolve some issues I had with it, though, and to pretty it up a bit. Basically, I am looking for these:

- fast travel
- better quest/journal organization
- some kind of cliff racer plague which decimates at least half the population
- skeleton key because fuuuuuuuuuuuck lockpicking
- single package graphical bump

What are the best, easiest to install, non-conflicting mods in those categories, in your opinion?

Just finished listening to the whole cast, I wanted to touch on Roberts observation on Skyrim...well Elder Scrolls Games in general, how he wished Skyrim had leveled zones like in MMO's, Their is well technically...Oblivion with the total conversion Nehrim: At Fates Edge accomplishes this and a whole lot more, I highly recommend it. Great cast as always, keep up the good work!

Skyrim sounds awesome and I thought about creating a kickass PC desktop rig or a good gaming laptop. I know y'all used to discuss gaming laptops (including the ROG) quite a bit but I haven't heard any discussion about those in a while. Are there are any great ones out there today?

RE: gaming laptops, I think it's dependent solely on what you want out of it. If you want to take it around and do more than gaming, then it really matters what you want. If you want a gaming laptop with sheer power, take note that you won't be able to treat it like a traditional laptop due to size and battery life, but the more mobile laptops won't net you quite as much power.

I think the Dell Inspiron 17R is the best gaming laptop out there right now due to being something more in between. It's got a hefty battery life, but it's good enough to handle most recent games. It can run Crysis at a solid 57 fps and has a massive 7 hour battery life.

I sold my RoG last year to build a desktop. I just can't afford upgrading to a better gaming laptop every 2-3 years, and I never took it anywhere anyway. With the desktop I can SLI another card in there, or sell the one I have and put the money towards a new one.

spend the extra couple hundred and get the xps 15 if you're going for a dell in that price range -- it's got 1080p, greater portability, better battery life, and a 540m instead of the 17r's 525m

Apparently SOME PEOPLE have jobs that require them to work a lot. That wouldn't be me! Work is for suckers, but yeah due to PAYIN SOME BILLS we're on hiatus for a bit I believe.

Yeah, we've scheduled a couple of recordings but had to cancel out. It isn't dead, but I don't know when the next one will happen. I suppose we are sort of an "every once in a while" show now (well, moreso than we were before, haha).
