I have a friend who is selling me his Wii, two controllers, and Wii Sports for $40. It's been in his closet for about two years now and is moving shortly.

Might troll around and find some cheap deals for some disc only used games like Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, NSMB Wii, and Sin and Punishment 2. With any luck, my total Wii investment will be less than $100.

Not exactly a Black Friday deal but since GR didn't want to break up his stuff to sell, I found a better alternative anyway.

Going to black friday to get some deals at this point in time (10:30 CST) is a waste of time as anything good is going to be sold out.

Got Rocksmith on Amazon now for $50 (normally $80). Not a great deal because this game was the definition of BOMBA and you'd figure it'd be $20 in no time, but for some reason no one is clearance-department-ing it yet. Been interested in giving it a shot for a while, so will pull out the electric guitar and give it a shot. Been 10 years+ since I played lol.

70" Sharp LED TV at Fry's for $1500 and tax. It replaces my 58" Samsung plasma.

My cousin started waiting in line on Thursday at 5:30 PM, he was around the 150th person. By the time I got there at 10:30 PM, he was behind 400 people. I just jumped in too.

The place got pretty crazy around 11:30pm with easily more than 1000 people but luckily cops came to calm things down and Fry's employees started lining up people in pairs. The whole thing could have been handled much better if they had just given people stubs.

I got cut-off right after my cousin got let in. Luckily, his place in the line was able to get him the final 70" TV. A 55" Sony 3D LED was also available for $1000. I should have gotten it as well as it was easily $500 cheaper than everywhere else.

Yeah that's how the Best Buy near my house was. By 11:00 PM it was insanity. the line easily wrapped all the way around the store and had began to overlap itself. My brother in law had a friend who was like 20th in line and he had been there since Monday night.

But what's funny is we drove 10 miles further to the nearest Best Buy outside the city. We jumped in line and we were like 150th-200th in line at 11:30pm and when we got in they had plenty of everything.

tv prices have come down so much. it's almost getting viable to replace my 42" panny 720p plasma without having much good reason except to upgrade. only problem is selling a TV is such a hassle, wish I could just trade it in somewhere.

I sell my old tv's to family members and friends. But I sell it for way below value because all my wife cares about is that it doesn't just sit in the garage and we get SOMETHING back for it.

But yeah, prices have come down crazy amounts. You can buy decent 36-42" LCD's for 400-500 easily. I even got my 65 inch for about 700 bucks.
