Aldnoah Zero: Finished watching this last night. I liked this show but one thing that kind of made no sense to me was Slaine's
heel turn into the total badguy. It kind of made no sense. The ending was satisfying.
Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? I think we made it about five minutes into this before my wife my told me to cut it off. Note that she sat through and enjoyed
Triage X. The goddess girl who is already massively popular with fans turned her right off. Also, I have to say that I was disappointed by the premise of the show. Its title made me think this would be about some overly-confident asshole who trolls around looking for girls. Instead he's some weak little man-boy.
Punchline: This show was bizarre but funny. Didn't care about the female characters and just liked the antics between the male character and the ghost-cat.
Rekan: This is another comedy show about a girl who can see and talk to ghosts (and animals). Kind of "slice of life" style with most of the laughs coming from her classmates being affected by the ghosts instead of her. Seemed OK.
Shokugeki No Soma: Watched the first two episodes. This is a "cooking battle" show that like another food-related show from last season (forgot the name), has this oddly erotic undertone whenever female characters eat something good. Seriously, this is easily the most perverted show of the season. There is one scene in the first episode where the antagonist essentially has an orgasm from eating Soma's food. But what made this hilarious is that her male companions were also depicted in the same way!
