I hope they can make this grimy enough to fit Berserk's world. CGI worked well with Knights of Sidonia, which has a similar, if not even bigger body horror aspect than Berserk. But then again, Sidonia is set on spaceships and half of it is mech combat in space...

I'll watch it regardless, but I'm not excited for it any more.

Great. Manga is better but it's still good anime. It's by Tsutomu Nihei who also did Blame, Abara and Biomega. All his stuff tends to have great architecture and body horror.

It's not quite harem, just every girl, "girl" and as of yet sexless person seems to forge some kind of bond with the protagonist. It's Nihei's most conventional and straightforward work, i.e. shonen tropes out the ass. Protag is a skilled combatant, good at heart, has an enormous appetite, is nigh invincible, the power of friendship saves him and the day, etc.

Watch the 4th OVA then watch episodes 9 and 10 of Alternative Architecture then watch the movie and you're done.

The winter anime season has really started now with a lot of shows premiering, my favorite show so far is Myriad Colors Phantom World because of the limbo scene. I think The Walrus would like Erased because it's mystery show with an 29 year old protagonist, the first episode was good stuff.

Durarara!! x2 Episode 25!!

The guild is formed!

We actually got to see Shingen being a badass, and it was hilarious.

Every single moment in Shinra's apartment was solid gold. It made up the majority of the episode but it didn't take up more time than it needed to. This was a great first episode for the cour because it creates the guild that will be instrumental for the remainder of the episodes (I'm assuming.)

Some interesting developments here but I have no idea where it's going. I'm glad that the Traffic Cop is getting more involved in things though.

Izaya's back in the spotlight... what will happen now?

With all the revelations this episode, the Dollars vs. Yellow Scarves conflict feels a lot less important. It'll be up to the next episode to juice it up a little.

The final arc of Durarara!!, begin!

I began to rewatch HxH last week (just got done with Greed Island) and man it holds up. The concept of Nen is my favorite power thingy. It's rigid enough to make sense, but really flexible for all of these amazing and unique abilities.

Garo's not bad. Aldnoah Zero's not bad. It's more than a few years (2010) but I also remember liking Occult Academy a lot but its already been forgotten by history.

Didn't expect Parasyte to be any good but it's really compelling so far (watching via Toonami.) Good dub too.

Also Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas did the opening and they're the fucking bomb (did my favorite HxH ending.)
