Sounds great, Gamestop gets a small reason to stay relevant, Nintendo gets to look less like the miserly bastards they are, and the fans who swore they'd buy it given the chance get an opportunity to put up or shut up.

I'd sooner rather see Sandlot's awesome looking Viking Defense Force get localized, or Disaster/Trace Memory/Pandora's Tower/Last Story make it here too, but this is nice.

Yeah, I'm really happy they chose Xenoblade of the three and not the other two, going on GAF impressions of all three.

Anyways, a confirmation a few months ago that it was even coming at all (even if in 2012) would probably have done them so good and not lost sales to importers. Personally, I'm glad I waited.

I wonder what kind of agreement NoA and GS have in all this. Is it basically because of GameStop that the game is coming out at all? hrm.

I might actually buy another copy if it's a limited run.  Game would have sold like shit regardless but after making their key demo import the game they really won't have an accurate picture of how big or small the demo is.

Just a shame they were so adamant about never bringing it over.  I'm glad they are bringing it over but it should have been here for Christmas.  Just another stupid decision by NoA.

it plays like an MMO,you get a skill palette and each skill has a cooldown time,and your first party member get the job of drawing aggro

most people seems to say that "it's like no JRPG before" because they want to murder the classic JRPG,one thing that drives me crazy is that some skills have rogue property so one skill does more damage if you attack enemy from behind and apparently THIS IS SOME INCREDIBLY CRAZY INNOVATION THAT MAKES THE FIGHT HIGHLY STRATEGIC IN A STALE GENRE LIKE THE JRPG even tough in the end it doesn't make a lick of difference

End-game WoW circa 2006 had deeper and more engrossing gameplay than just about every highly touted RPG I've played from this generation, western or wacky Jappy, so yeah, I don't think it's an entirely terrible trend. DA:O was a boring pile of shit but Xenoblade
