I just want to (permanently) lose my burden of intelligence, and there are few ways to do that effectively / quickly. I've seen some legitimate research papers on the subject...

Here it is, 2011's Game of the Year list! 2011 was a particularly amazing year for all platforms and here is a sentence about how difficult it was to choose the top 10. We managed to narrow it down to these 10, based on our impressions after playing them for at least 30 minutes each prior to publishing our reviews. Here's our justification for each game: at least one token game had an art style that blew us away and complemented the simple gameplay nicely...the narrative in said game may or may not have produced emotions in us while we played. Another game had amazing visceral action, with unmatched gunplay and a gripping narrative which could be roughly analogized to 9/11. Another game was the incredible sequel to the high budget FPS that rocks our worlds year after year. The single player in this game is an afterthought but the multiplayer is blahblahblahblhablhablh so awesome. Another game sets you in an open world with many options and things to keep you busy. The rest of the games fall somewhere in between the boundaries created by the other games. The number 1 game will either be the predictable high budget first person shooter or open world game. If not, it will be an upset put there solely for more hits to the website. All lists are game publisher approved via the editor of said website prior to publication.
At least no Wii titles were selected, as they were all clearly marked "game".
The Pokemon community is outraged by games journalism omitting Black&White from their GOTY lists. Effectively immediately, Pokemon fans will be celibate until the gaming world acknowledges their struggle.
