need a game to occupy me through some of the holiday period. I want longevity and bang for da buck. I'm leaning towards Gears as it has co-op modes, multiplayer etc.

But if Batman is at least 20 hours I could go for that.

I could get Skyrim but fuck that game

Gears. Microsoft games take a while to drop in price. Batman will be $30 in 6 months or $15 if you do PC.

Gears probably has the best console multiplayer of the year, but the single-player is still boring.

I haven't played Batman yet, but you can take it for a given that it has a far superior campaign mode.

Gears multi is poop

Gears single is boring and insanely, offensively easy

Batman is also really easy on Hard

The Riddler Revenges are a complete chore to do

You can get 1000 on Batman (+more if you do DLC)

You can barely reach 1000 on Gears

The choice is clear
