1). dirt pony is worst pony
2). as a character she's pretty much refused to adapt for a season and a half so far.
3). all of her episodes are tepid at best.
4). applebloom talkin' fancy does not redeem a pony.
5). every other character is just... better. being 6 of 6 isn't so bad when 5 of the 6 get 10/10s. >_>

I have 3 daughters. The show is not terrible. I have a Pinkie Pie figurine on my desk at work. My daughters asked which pony was my favorite. When I told them Pinkie Pie, they gave me one of their figurines and requested I take it with me to work.

It was at this moment that I decided to start collecting firearms as a hobby.

The show benefits from the same vapid bullshit that rockets ugly fat people who are moderately talented into the media spotlight after a unexpected "you're an inspiration to me" performance on american idols talent of the stars. It exists within 2 niches that are both traditionally terrible. Cartoons for little girls and cartoons designed to sell a toy. This is the first show from those respective genres that does not induce spontaneous nausea.

It is 100% a show for little girls. It's put together well enough that a reasonable, intelligent adult could watch it along with their small daughter, but that's it. It's not like Power Puff Girls or even Spongebob Squarepants.

Adventure Time is amazing. I'm also a fan of the Regular show. These are my daughters' favorite shows. Their favorite show used to be Symbionic Titan but for some fucked up reason that show got cancelled.

Absolutely. The end of that episode is amazing. It features her walking away down the street with her headphones on listening to "space age love song" by flock of seagulls and in the background titan and a giant manta ray monster beat the shit out of each other.

If I remember correctly the entire episode is amazing. Two of the main characters go to a death metal concert.

The series was really really good. My oldest daughter cried when I told her it was cancelled. :'(
